Akira Summers

Akira Summers is an enthusiastic nine-year-old from Parkersburg, West Virginia, and a third grader at Legacy Christian Academy. This season marks her first experience with competitive twirling, and she has already proven to be a natural. Akira is a very fast learner who has quickly mastered her basics and shows remarkable skill and confidence on the floor. Her curiosity and eagerness to try new tricks make her stand out, and it’s clear she has a true passion for the sport.

 

We are thrilled to welcome Akira to the Phoenix Twirlers! She approaches every practice with energy, excitement, and determination, always ready to learn and grow. Her dedication and hard work, combined with her natural talent, allow her to pick up new routines quickly and perform with poise. Akira’s bright personality and positive attitude make her a joy to coach, and she inspires her teammates with her enthusiasm and commitment.

Akira’s journey in twirling is just beginning, and we are so excited to watch her continue developing her skills and discovering her full potential. With her natural ability, fast learning, and love for the sport, she is poised for an amazing season full of growth, accomplishments, and memorable performances. Akira’s energy, passion, and determination promise a bright future in baton twirling, and we can’t wait to see all that she achieves with the Phoenix Twirlers.

Fun Facts

Akira's favorite tricks are elbow rolls and thumb toss - one spins. She is working a variety of tricks and is very excited to be in our 2026 competition routines!
