About the event
The West Virginia State Championships is held once a year for individuals, teams, and corps. All participants are competing for the opportunity to earn a state championship title! Advanced soloists are also competing to earn a spot to compete in the National Majorette Contest, or the Grand National Solo Event at the National baton Twirling Championships in the summer of 2026.
