Shaylee is from Washington, West Virginia, and she joined the Phoenix Twirlers in March of 2023. She has been twirling for about four years in total and has quickly developed a love for the sport. Shaylee enjoys learning new tricks and perfecting her skills, always striving to improve with each practice. She is a very fast learner and consistently surprises her coaches with how quickly she masters new techniques. Her hard work, dedication, and positive attitude make her a joy to coach and a valuable member of the Phoenix Twirlers family.

Shaylee’s first competition with Phoenix Twirlers was the Triple Crown Miss St. Patrick’s Day Team Competition in 2023, where she and her team earned a first-place win, what a memorable debut! One of her favorite competition memories came at the 2023 Twirling Unlimited Regional Championships in Sissonville, WV, where her team not only earned a first-place Regional Championship title but also performed a flawless no-drop routine. Shaylee is also proud to have competed individually for the first time at the 2024 NBTA West Virginia State Championships, bringing home three first-place awards.

In 2025, Shaylee became the NBTA Junior Beginner Pageant Winner, earning the honor of representing West Virginia at nationals. She is excited to continue making new memories with Phoenix Twirlers and to keep improving her skills. Shaylee looks forward to competing individually, learning more solo routines, and moving up the ranks in the twirling world. With her dedication, talent, and love for the sport, Shaylee is sure to achieve great things in the seasons to come.
