Ashley began twirling in the summer of 2020 after wanting to try it for most of her life. She’s learned a great deal from all of her past coaches, but she feels that Phoenix Twirlers has truly helped her gain confidence and pride in everything she sets out to do. In a short time, she’s grown tremendously and is continuing to improve with each practice and challenging herself to learn something new every time she twirls. She’s come out of her shell and built strong bonds with her teammates along the way.

Ashley began competing individually in the fall of 2022. Her very first competition was the 2023 NBTA West Virginia State Championships, where she proudly earned two first-place awards and a new state title. She went on to capture another state title and is the 2024 and 2025 NBTA West Virginia Senior Novice Solo Winner as well as the Triple Crown New Year’s Twirl-A-Bration Senior Novice Pageant Winner. She plans to continue competing and is excited to take on new routines and challenges ahead.

Ashley is incredibly grateful for her current coaches and appreciates the time and dedication they give to help her succeed. Her family and friends are beyond proud of how far she’s come in such a short time and can’t wait to see all that she achieves next.
